Why do people hate the hummer h2 so much ?

I don't own one but i have driven a friend's before. I am just curious what makes people hate them. Honestly it seems like all these green peace people just point their fingers in one direction.....at the h2. The reality of it is that ford expeditions and others like it are not very far off from the gas mileage the h2 gets. If the mark is similar a to a water mark, you can just rub some oil on it and let it sit overnight or for several hours. It does not matter what type of oil you use so mineral or vegetable oil is fine. Wipe it off in the morning and the mark will hopefully be gone.

How do you remove mineral buildup in the skimmer line?

There is a white substance (kinda looks like caulk) encrusted in the pool pipe, right past the skimmer. Calcium maybe? There is that 90 degree angle so I can't touch it, but we used a small mirror to see. We poured a little muratic acid, and then vacuumed it out, but it just made it really white. My pool guys have no idea what it is. Is there any way to get rid of it with out replacing the whole skimmer? We bought a foreclosure, and this pool is old, this is our 2nd summer with the pool and the skimmer has never worked great. Please help so I don't have to pay $1200 for a new skimmer!

Dedicate router for online gaming?

If I have the opportunity to sit down and use the TV, I like to play online games on my PS3. However, if I am using the TV my wife usually likes to watch TV or videos streaming online. This pretty much kills my connection (wireless) and makes games very difficult to play. Is there any way to optimize my wireless router so that the PS3 is getting, maybe 75 to 80 % of our internet stream? We have 7mbps down and 1 mbps up and I have the D-Link DIR-655 Wireless N router.

My daughter is left handed and highly artistic. I recently started her on spelling and she will spell normally left to right and the letters the right way when I ask her. The letters all facing the right direction. She LOVES to spell and always will ask how to spell a word and will do this for hours. She knows all her alphabet and can spell all the letters when told which one. The weirdest thing is she spells the words upside down and backwards, but with the letters ALL the same. Constant Grinding of my Brakes on my Rotors.?

If the measurement of thickness at the bottom of the grooves is below factory specifications for minimum thickness, the rotors must be replaced. If rotors remain thinner than spec, they will overheat and warp, thus causing a dangerous condition. Do yourself a favor and replace the rotors when pads are done. Turning rotors has always been a waste of time and very rarely achieves desired brake operation. You can always buy the parts at Auto Zone and pay a friend to do it on the side.

i have a 99 monte carlo. it was fine saturday night and then wen i drove it sunday morning it was spittin and sputtering. wen i got out the store it wouldnt start. now it starts and the idle immediatly drops in 2 to 3 secs and the car shuts off. if i try to give it gas it immediatly shuts off. i changed the fuel filter already and it still does it so i think its the fuel pump.but idk. please help! i have had no problems wit the car before it starts up perfectly and runs real good.

First of all you shouldnt have more then 2 servings of fruit a day vegetarian or not. they are high in natural sugar and if you consume too much will turn into fat. another thing to remember is orange juice is good for you but eating an actual orange is more nutritous for you. i like apples so i would say to eat them but if you dont like them there are obviously many other fruit you can eat. For example in one day eat an orange, 1/2 cup of dried apricots and a 1/2 cup blueberries or whatever kind of berries you like. another thing is yogert is dairy even if its fruit flavored. it will help to add to your fruit intake but not significantly.. hope this all helps!

Angina at 26 - common?? deadly?? HELP!!?

Docs think I've got angina. I've been suffering from chest pains for a while now, and my mum decided to rush me to hospital one morning afew weeks ago because I'd been walking upstairs and went really breathless n dizzy with chest pains. The hospital rana heart trace which was fine, but told me to visit my doctor and ask him to refer me for the stress test where they hook you up while you're on a tread mill to test for angina. I did this - still waiting for a date from hospital - and my doc also gave me an angina spray. I've used it twice so far and its helped, but my friend told me that just because it helped doesnt necessarily mean I actually have angina. Heres my problem.. I also suffer with anxiety attacks, have done for the past 8years. I also suffer with terrible, vivid and horrifying nightmares most nights. Im finding it really hard to work out what is an anxiety attack and what is an angina attack. Im also having a hard time getting my head around the fact that I might have angina at such a young age - Im only 26!! - I've always been active, never been a heavy smoker, and as far as I know theres no heart trouble in my family (tho I cant be sure as Im adopted and only know my maternal side). Check the back of the disc for any scratches or fingerprints. If there are then clean them off...I had the same problem at first but then I took it out to blow on it and then I put it back in and it worked. I want friends in real life..how to get them ( i have social anxiety/anxiety)?

First off do you see a therapist for your anxiety? Also do you take medication for it? I know a lot of people on here would say that medication is bad and that a lot of doctors push medications in stead of dealing with the issues at hand. However psychiatrist give medication not therapy. I your therapist recommends medication it is for a good reason. Besides desperate times call for desperate measures. Get in with a psychiatrist to get an anti anxiety medication to help calm your nerves. Then start out slowly with going out to social places. Maybe go to the grocery store and talk to the cashier while checking out. Once you feel comfortable doing that then move it up to going to like an internet cafe or a coffee house and talking to people around you. And in the end take the steps to going to a full social functioning place such as a club or your local bar. Or maybe you can meet someone at a low functioning place such as the supermarket who will invite you to a party. It is very hard to overcome social anxiety trust me I know I have it too. I hate big crowds and being surrounded by lots of people. You just have to take it one step at a time.

16 year old male with high blood pressure?

All my life ive had normal blood pressure, but last month for my physical my BP was 160/80 so my doctor was concerned. Ive gained about 20 pounds in the past 6 months and havent been very active because i did not play football. Since i had my physical ive been eating very healthy and conditioning for baseball(very strenuous...worse than hell week for football) I sometimes take it at the nurses office at school and its usually around 145/80 I went back to the doctor today and my bp was first 135/75 and then 146/79. Shes concerned i guess so she took blood and is sending me to a cardiologist, and putting me on BP medication. She also wants an ultra-sound on my kidneys. What could this mean?? Should i be worried??

I have always thought of dentists as used car salesmen. It seems everytime you go to get a cleaning, they find "something" that HAS to be done and they set your next appt. for fixing these things without even asking if it's ok..that said..I took my 8 year old for her cleaning to a new pediatric dentist. The dentist says "She has two cavities and she needs sealants on the other two back ones." Then they are shoving an orthodontist appointment on me even though they said they would probably just "take a look" because of her "crowding". Then they have me sign a release form for her "laughing gas" that she will NEED to have her teeth filled. She hasn't had ANY pain and these "cavities" they say need filling you can hardly see at all. I feel like they are just trying to make $! I hate to put my 8 yr old through this if it's not nec? I've never had cavities, so maybe I just don't understand. The pupils in my eyes are not centered like most people. In the colored part, they are slightly higher than center and closer to my nose. I had an eye doctor tell me she wanted to take a picture because she had heard of but never seen my "disorder". However, she could not remember the name. I'm 32 weeks pregnant and had my rhogam shot at 28 weeks like I'm suppose to. They checked my antibody levels right after and they came back pos. Anyway my high risk ob said she didn't think it would show pos. that soon so anyway I'm seeing her every 10 days to see if he is becoming anemic. So far he is just fine but I'm really scared that there is a chance he may become anemic and need a blood transfusion in utero which she said is risky. Hopefully if he even develops it all, it will be close enough to my due date that he can just be born and then have the transfusion which is much safer. Still I am really freaked. I am only a freshman right now, but it can't hurt to start thinking wayyy ahead. I want to pursue becoming a zoo vet even though I know its extremely competitive. If I do not get accepted to vet. school the first time should I work on a masters in zoology? what would be the best option to improve my resume? I am planning on completing as many internships and possibly getting a permanent job at a zoo when possible, but I need other ideas on how to make myself stand out to vet schools. Also, many vets I have talked to say if you snag an interview with a vet school to say you are interested in large animal medicine because there is more need in that field. In turn, he acted increasingly unreliable and obnoxious. However, I just went back & visited in person & realized I still loved him & how he worked. We saw we had been deeply in love & seperated by misunderstanding but he said the last year had crushed his feelings. When I showed him how his way of handling things had created my reaction, he said he wished the last year hadn't happened & wanted to try. I proposed we keep in touch and give things a fresh start as I left; he looked radiant as I kissed his cheeks. Does this deserve a 2nd chance? What would b a good next step?

How to use a rosemary plant in my cooking?

I purchased two rosemary plants in pots at the store. I hear they're supposed to have blue flowers in the summer, but these haven't flowered yet. Anyway, I was wondering exactly how you cook with them. If I want to use the fresh leaves, do I just snip them off and put them directly in my cooking? Do I wash the leaves first? I know you can dry them as well, but I hear using them fresh gives a better taste. Can I just pick off the sprigs and use them as-is?

I have a 1 1/2 year old dalmatian. she is a wonderful dog except one thing. she jumps up on the counter to find goodies. She is deaf in one ear and nearly deaf in the other so she doen not respond when we yell down like our puppy. I've tried keeping her on a leash so I can correct her with it when she jumps but all she wants to do is lay down while on the leash. Instead, I leave her collar on and correct her with that but she doesn;t seem to care. We never crate trained her which could be part of the problem but she is my boyfriend's dog too and he hates the idea of crating her. she has learned everything else just fine. I was thinking of trying those snappy trainers (they make a loud snap and bounce up when touched but don;t hurt the dog) but since she probably won;t be able to hear the snap I thought it might not be effective. plus they are $10 for three so I didn;t want to buy them and find she just thinks they are toys. anyone have any suggestions?

i went the wrong direction and turned down a popular street filled frats. i have been to many frat parties but dont go to these ones often. i saw millions of people on the street drunk and stuff. but infront of me the whole way their were cops. and they turned down the same street randomly they stopped and some kid who was walking with a few girls started to run. the cops tackled him and arrested him. without looking the girls jumped into the car and drove away as if they could care less. was mexican. millions of other students were walking around the cops drunk not getting arrested. why is this. why did they know at that time to go down the street arrest that specific kid not the girls. do girls call the cops when they are at parties and get people in trouble or did the cops just pick out one person and that was it? i have been to millions of frats but i go to the smaller ones off campus. I have never seen a cop in my life their. What could he have done?

I had a dream that I was in labor and I have never been pregnant. The dream seemed real but weird.?

Last night I had a dream I was in labor and had given birth at my house, however, no one was there, not even my fiance. I then called my grandmother and told her ill be over there soon because I didn't know what to do. The weird part was that the baby and I were attached by the umbilical cord at our navels. And I walked to my grandmother's house with my night gown still on and saying to my self I need to nourish him, so I was walking to my grandmothers house while feeding the baby. She lives 30 minutes a way while driving and I have a car but I chose to walk for some reason. Lastly when I got there she took the baby, and cut the umbilical cord and when she did so the placenta came out and ambiotic fluid came out, I said "that didn't hurt" referring to cutting the cord, and she told me to sit on the toilet to drain out all the fluid. And then I woke up and had to rush to the restroom. What does this mean? I thought it was a realistic but weird dream.

When I built my house around 8 yrs ago I installed cherry wood kitchen cabinets and over the years there are some minor scuffs and the joints in the doors are starting to show through. My sister LOVES apple pie. I went out and I bought everything for apple pie yesterday. We were going to have an all nighter party. I came home and made the apple pie. Everything was fine. I was pretty upset then because she kept on lying to me so I waited until she went back into her room and then i wrapped it up and hid it. There was a whole seen of me telling her that I ate them, they were in the supermarket, and whatever and her keeping on asking. Then she breaks down and starts crying about how "i;m constantly mean to her" and how "I don't respect her" and that "she tries to be a good sister". So all I do is ask her how I am constantly mean to her, an example. She sits there and tries to think of one way and she cant. I'm normally not like this but I'm tired of everyone not being able to get ANYTHING because her philosophy is that if someone leaves it there, you can take the whole thing. Maybe its just that other people are being considerate and making sure that the other person got some. I told her that I respect her, because I do and then she's like "STOP LYING TO ME!". I mean, I was lying? Who was lying about just leaving it there. I actually don't care about the apple pie, It's just that she is always inconsiderate; she never thinks about the next person. My dad was upset because she always demands for "please and thank you", but she never actually says it herself. I just wish that she would think about the next person adn think to herself" okay, I can take some but just leave a little bit so EVERYONE can enjoy it." I'm beginning to think that I should just tell her what I just wrote because clearly she doesn't notice it.
